This week is gonna be awesome. Not only do I get to initiate the download for the beta for MGS4 online, Ps3 owners will get a revamped new market place which is "THANK YOU GOD" not web based....
GTA4 is also coming out at the end of this month, right on the date of my first summer class w00t.
The world ends with you and Mario Kart wii, these are all coming out at the end of this month... uh oh, time to shut my cellphone off again.

I did some massive hesitation before buying this game, but as the inevitable lan party was coming up, I finally decided to get it. I knew how it felt when I played it the first time on H's machine... not amazing... yet I still bought it. If you're asking me how I feel right now? indifferent... except the fact that it's laying in my wii until heavy J's next visit. Plz unlock all my characters for me <3... then what? Don't get me wrong, it is a good party game... at least...

A PSP (3 Fing YEARS AGO) is a TOTAL LET DOWN!!!
How in the world can they not realize how CRAPPY the GAMEPLAY is after spending at least 3 LONG YEARS making it? OH I KNOW!!! THE BEAUTIFUL CGs TOOK 2.5 YEARS and they spent 6 month making the rest of the game, (5 months picking their bloody noses and 1 month for disastrous programming). Yeah OK, the visuals are off the hook, BUT THE THING IS A FING GAME not a MOVIE.

Going through battles is like torture, EVERY enemy encounter is announced by the female narrator, same thing when combat is over. The animation looks weak and why in the world did they implement a dodge button when it doesn't work half the time because of stupid none interrupting attack animations (please learn from god of war).

I was going through combat with my EYES CLOSED LITERALLY, ask heavy J. The locking mechanism is a joke. Magic and item usage are in real time and since the PSP doesn't have enough buttons, you must cycle through 5 objects and push 3 buttons to get a simple damn HEALING POTION while your hp is flashing red (HEAL ME -=NAO=- OR I MAKE YOU RESTART TORTUROUS LEVEL YOU FF7 SUCKFEST).

OK on the brightside of things, The cut scenes are definitely very uber just like the ones in advent children, they seem to have recycled alot of textures and character models, but who cares right?

Fans of this series will most definitely pickup this game because everybody picks up anything FF and they'll tell you how AWESOME this game is. Personally, I am also a huge FF fan but this series seems to be at its last milking stage. Thx Square for crapping all over my favorite FF7 original game, cuz now I'm about to go through the game once again to view your beautiful CGs. oh no wait... HELLO YOUTUBE

Recent Experiment

OK, I AM NOOB IN PHOTOSHOP I KNOW!!!
Here is my first sketch using the AWESOME Bamboo tablet. I've sketched using it and colored too. It took me a HECK of a long time to learn the BASIC functions of LAYERS and GRADIENTS, which the latter I am still confused with. This is just a sketch and I didn't want to draw anything too complex. So far PS was very brutal with me. This ain't a typical Paint program. 90% of the time, I end up pressing buttons which completely does nothing, later on, my image gets smudged and everything turns into a mess. I have used alot of online tutorial and the problem is that I don't understand the PS terms that they keep on using. I am, a true noob. True Story...

I'll keep on working at it, until I understand the whole concept of shading, outlining and so on... I don't want to imagine dragging a single toon onto a pre colored background because my brain would simply EXPLODE, BOOM HEADSHOT!!!

The game.. is terribly addicting, so addicting that I couldn't let go after a few hours of study. I had a chance to play against J. and boy it was fun... A strategy game which has a wonderful feature called MULTIPLAYER, pits you and another opponent in the universe head on. The DS continues to amaze me with the titles that it can come up with... Music is catchy and hip, gameplay is solid, the art is stylized and everything is in the palm of your hands... Now, I gotta wait for J. to finish his raid, so that I can shoot more rockets up his peach.

Ok so I've been told that you can get a taste of Ninja Gaiden Swords at a local EB demo kiosk, thx Jr, I've lost track of the DS lineup for a few weeks due to sooo many things in my mind. Advance Wars days of Ruin looks pretty sick too! man oh man, if only I can sacrifice some time to play... but no :( I might end up getting them anyway.. eerr... no.. must.. resist...

I've also been studying photoshop digital drawing... boy the layers and layers are confusing but it's starting to get to me. The Bamboo tablet is quite amazing... pressure sensitive and onboard buttons which lets you make gestures to access different functions which you would normally have to hit a few keyboard combination sure do save you some time. Did I mention the pen and mouse are both batteryless? How the Heck?

I think I'll spend the rest of my day reading through my book and surfing the web... The sound of sunday makes me feel real lazy. Nice WC3 game tho last night, or should I say this morning?...

Oh... btw.. Bell's regular 44$ monthly dsl service is no longer unlimited... THAT'S RIGHT, THEY DON'T TELL YOU UNLESS YOU FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF THOSE HOMOS... you gotta pay an extra 20$ to get the unlimited... I got several computers in my house and who knows if someone or something goes overboard.

Ok so again we had our lil monthly Daeya meeting. We first had supper over at Miso sushi place, very elegant atmosphere although probably my favorite japanese restaurant still lies with Isakaya, but it was still well worth the taste buds.
After dinner... J handed me a huge batman bag and said happy birthday. I quickly realized that my birthday was indeed coming up, even tho E. even mentioned it before ordering. When I pulled out the clothing like box... I was shocked at the gift that R.P.J.J and E have given me.... I was totally speechless and felt like crying in public like a 10 year old brat. IT WAS THE WACOM BAMBOO FUN TABLET!!! I've always wanted one... NOW I CAN FINALLY DRAW DIGITALLY ON MY PC!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!! I'm typing this as E. is given lifts back home to everyone. I am now reading through the instructions... I will always draw for you guys!!!

Ok so I have finally beaten Super Mario Galaxy with only 60 stars as the bare minimum. All I can say is that MAN... this game is really really awesome. It has that nostalgic feeling when you first played a mario game back in the NES... Anyways I just got a few of my Wii games back and I'm thinking of finishing super paper mario this time...

During my Holiday Vacation, I've done some gaming. Gears of war for the PC is really good and makes me sad that it took me a year to get it. Call of Duty 4 is great as well and is probably the most popular game in 2007 in North America and in Europe.

With the ongoing CES 2008 in Las Vegas, I gotta say that the future is pretty exciting... oh and I gotta get one of them new phones on the show floor. If you compare them to my current phone, it'll be like comparing a Dinosaur to a dog.

Hi I'd like to share my thoughts on this years game releases. It's gonna be an awesome year for all 3 consoles. The ps3 is the one I'm excited about... well because the game that finally brought me into getting this sytem is coming out this year and it's none other than MGS4. I can't seem to help think that I have to go through all this academic term until I can finally play it.

KOJIMA, I HOPE ALL THESE DELAYS WILL BE WELL WORTH IT.
